You aren't supposed to serve guests a meal and then nitpick your own cooking. It's bad form. But just like I have a hard time not pointing out that I overcooked the chicken or that I should have salted the rub more, it's hard for me not to mention the cameo appearances by my thumb or the awkward faces I make when the camera turns on me. Regardless, just like those flawed meals, I still self-consciously enjoy this.
Perfection is overrated, isn't it? This video couldn't possibly be more beautiful...
ReplyDeleteThat's my take on perfection, but I'm a little lazy and impatient so...
DeleteJust too lovely for words. (Even more crying)
ReplyDeletehope some handsome gentleman offered you a hankie on the subway.
DeleteThank you so very much. Motherhood and nearly debilitating nostalgia do seem to go hand in hand.
ReplyDeleteOMG. This is too perfect! I loved watching - thanks for sharing :) I need to start gathering up all the video clips of Eleanor and try to get them put together by the time she is 1, lol.
ReplyDeleteSuch a dream! The swing, the water, the children, the playfulness and fun, and most of all that plump, sweet, delectable bundle of Alamae! Such a treat to see her in motion. She really does look like you, hm? And your "awkward" faces are adorable; you are all aglow with this perfect little jewel of yours cuddling against you. I loved every bit of this.
